The Seneca County Arts Council’s Artworks Gallery will be accepting entrants in the annual juried art show. The show will run from July 18 through August 28, 2025, at the Art Works Gallery, 109 Fall Street, downtown Seneca Falls. The opening reception will be Friday, July 18, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Awards are: Juror’s Choice $150, Best in Show $150, Two Honorable Mentions $50 each. A People’s Choice vote will go on during the duration of the show. The winner of the People’s Choice will receive a membership for 2026. 

Entries are due July 10 through 12 during Gallery hours, 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. Entry fee for a total of two pieces: $25 for members and $35 for non-members.

Entries must be ready to hang: matted and framed with wire. 3-dimensional work needs its own display pedestal. All entries are to have name, phone no, and title marked. Entries must be original work. Entry forms are available at the Art Works Gallery or download form below. The Gallery will receive a 25% commission on all work that is sold.

Seneca County Arts Council supports the arts in the local area through its art workshops, art shows, gallery space, and a scholarship program. Artworks Gallery shows the work of member artists, photographers, handcrafted jewelry, pottery, blown glassware, knitted items, and assorted crafts. Interested in becoming a member? The gallery’s regular hours are Wednesday through Saturday. The gallery is staffed by volunteers. If you are making a special trip to visit us, you can call 315-257-0201 to make sure we are staffed. We will be staffed for artwork take-in dates.
