The Artworks Gallery Shows the Fiber Art of Sue Petersen

The Seneca County Arts Council’s Artworks Gallery is showing the fiber art of Sue Petersen at the dedicated space called Abby’s Gallery starting November 8 through November 30. The Artworks Gallery is located at 109 Fall Street, Seneca Falls, New York 13148.
Sue Petersen is a lifelong resident of Seneca County. She has traveled extensively and enjoys creating. Sue’s deepest inspiration comes from the beauty and color found in nature. With this insight, she creates her fiber arts using various techniques, including weaving, wet felting, needle felting, and knitting. Her intention is to focus specifically on creating flowers, trees, and leaves to build her own fiber garden. Sue hopes to continue showing her pieces to the community to foster a sense of appreciation for creating works of art using fiber.
Sue has been in several exhibitions, including the Weaver’s Guild of Rochester, Dove Block in Geneva, the Women’s Hall of Fame of Seneca Falls, and the Rochester Institute of Technology. You can find more of Sue’s work on Instagram @ textile_goddess.
