The Artworks Gallery Call for Entries in “Celebrate America” Juried Art Show

The Seneca County Arts Council’s Artworks Gallery will be accepting entrants in the annual juried art show. This year the gallery will celebrate our Country’s 250th birthday with a theme “Celebrate America”. The show will run from July 3 through August 1, 2026.  The show will open with a public reception on Friday, July 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Art Works Gallery, 109 Fall Street, downtown Seneca Falls. 

Awards are: Juror’s Choice $150, Best in Show $150, Two Honorable Mentions $50 each. A People’s Choice vote will go on during the duration of the show. The winner of People’s Choice will receive a membership for 2027. 

Entries are due Thursday, June 25 through Saturday, June 27 at the Gallery during Gallery hours 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. Entry fee for total of two pieces: $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Payment by check or cash accepted.

 Entries must be ready to hang with wire. 3-dimensional work needs its own display pedestal. All entries are to have name, phone no., title and media clearly marked. Entries must be original work done within the last five years.The Gallery will receive a 25% commission on all work that is sold.
