Workshop Description: The workshop is a series of two classes focusing on landscapes done in the wet-in-wet method of watercolor painting. The paints are applied to wet paper or other wet colors which makes controlling their flow difficult, but creates very interesting and pleasing results. The use of various washes (flat, graded, granulated, transparent, and superimposed) also enhance the effects. This method is excellent for atmospheric effects, exaggerated forms, and soft edges. Skies and water are excellent subjects for this technique. Working in this method is really a lot of fun and exciting results and surprises occur.
